Il like to say I learned English by reading Harry Potter and watching Desperate Housewives. It's only partially true.
I frequently read English documents : novels, technical documentation, random articles on the Internet. I regularly watch TV series or movies in English. I can write intelligibly, or so I hope ; you can be the judge of that by reading the few translated pages of this website.
I would likely be able to work in an English-speaking environment, although I have never had the opportunity to challenge this assumption.

German : notions
I was quite good in German, at least in a school environment, until I got into the École polytechnique. I chose German as my main foreign language when I took the admission exams, which means I was able to chat in German for about an hour on a given subject.
Then, for lack of practice, I forgot all of my vocabulary.
The passage of time doesn't make it any better.

Conception and development of a common solution for three MVNO, in order to adapt their information systems to the evolution of the inter-operator interface that manages mobile numbers portability : the file-exchange-based communication system was replaced by a webservice-based communication system, and the overall processing time was reduced.
Technical and functional expertise throughout the project, in a rather heavy context : strict external requirements, tight planning, multiple contacts (3 clients and 1 other contractor).

The Master ISIC program aims to train future architects and project managers, specializing in information system modeling : analysis, design, development…
The program was developed as a partnership between the École polytechnique and the Thalès group, and is divided in three sectors : automatic systems, embedded systems, information systems.
Since I left the program, the Master ISIC « Ingénierie des Systèmes Industriels Complexes » changed its name to COMASIC « COnception et MAnagement des Systèmes Informatiques Complexes ».
